Skunk2 B-Series High Compression Forged Valves

Manufactured from lightweight, EV8 stainless steel one-piece forgings, Skunk2’s High-Compression Pro Series Valves for Honda’s B-series VTEC engines are heat-treated using a proprietary process, resulting in extraordinary strength and durability. Each High-Compression Pro Series Valve features a semi-flat-face design for reduced chamber volume (1.5cc or more), which results in compression gains between 0.3-0.5 points. All Pro Series Valves feature hardened tips that resist deformation and galling that’s often associated with aggressive, high-lift camshafts. Other valves may appear similar, but only Pro Series Valves feature specially designed valve head profiles to optimize airflow. Each Pro Series Valve is CNC machined, polished, and finished off with a black, nitride coating that reduces friction and increases wear resistance.

Skunk2 designs, develops, and tests its entire valvetrain lineup in-house to ensure superior quality and maximum performance gains. During development, each valvetrain component is tested both on the dyno and the road, including 11,000 rpm drag racing engines and 17,000 rpm superbikes.
